Since opening our doors in April 2024, Sovereign Flavors Texas has continued to grow exponentially — and this year, that growth has been nothing short of tremendous. As a leading flavor manufacturer in Texas, we’ve expanded our team, deepened our R&D capabilities, and reaffirmed our commitment to quality and safety. Our Texas facility continues to play a central role in how we serve beverage co-packer customers nationwide.

A Growing Team

Our Texas team has grown to 27 full-time team members, and we’re not slowing down. Over the next 12 months, we plan to add 10–15 additional team members to support the facility’s continued growth and the increasing demand we’re seeing across the region. Supporting Beverage Co-Packers Across the Eastern U.S.

Today, our Texas facility produces 60% of our total volume, servicing all beverage co-packer facilities east of the Rockies. This strategic footprint allows us to provide real, measurable value to our customers — including a 70% reduction in freight charges compared to shipping from other locations. It’s a win for efficiency, sustainability, and our customers’ bottom line.

Flavor R&D and Innovation in Texas

Our flavor R&D team in Texas is also growing to match the pace of the facility. Derek Rankin, a Certified Flavor Chemist, leads Flavor Creation, while Sophia Pollack leads Beverage Applications. Together, they’re driving innovation from the ground up.

We’ve also begun hosting customer and R&D working sessions focused on optimizing beverage applications — giving our partners direct access to our flavor formulation expertise and creating a truly collaborative development process.

BRC and Organic Certification: Committed to Quality and Safety

Quality and food safety remain at the core of everything we do. Sovereign Flavors Texas has earned an AA rating in BRC Certification for both 2024 and 2025, and has been Organic certified by CCOF since 2025. Our most recent inspection took place on March 26th, 2026, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to the highest standards in the flavor manufacturing industry.
